The Bosco delle Fontane (The Forest of Fountains) is located in Cismon del Grappa along the valley of Brenta at an altitude of about 200 m above sea level. It consists of a riparian forest of about forty acres. It is situated in the south-west area of the common, wedged between the outlet of Val Nassa and Val dei Ponti from the massif of Grappa and the bed of the river of Brenta.

This important habitat is characterized to its full extent by a strong presence of white alder (Alnus incana) along with other species such as hornbeam, linden, black locust and willow, particularly in the areas facing the river of Brenta. In the early 90s, the City Council has established the Nature Reserve of the Forest of Fountains and promoted its intended use for the main purposes of natural and environmental education.
