The Alpine Garden of San Marco extends over the area of one hectare, of which about one third is left to natural grass-pastures, while the rest is occupied by a beech forest, a wetland area, a planting zone and "rock gardens". A multipurpose room renovated in 2002 serves as a tool shed, a library and a conference room. In the garden you will find species coming from the neighbouring area of Little Dolomites of Veneto and partly coming from the Venetian Prealps or the South-East Prealps.
