In Salcedo (VI), a small town in the foothills of Vicenza, you will find an interesting private collection dedicated to bicycles. The museum is owned by Mr. Pasquale Loris. He was twenty years old when a family friend gave his father an old bicycle equipped with a shaft motor. Loris was immediately fascinated by this two-wheeled vehicle, which awoke his passion to seek and collect other models of bicycles. In a few years his collection of bicycles and accessories has grown to create a museum, which has been open to the public since July 2006. Today the museum covers an area of 150 square meters where the visitors can admire a hundred models of historical bicycles, together with accessories of various types related to bicycle and its history.
