The collection of war artefacts began in the early 80s, after his military service, where he had initially began to collect medals. Over the years the collection has been enlarged with alpine and military material from the Great War, and continues to this day including personal equipment of soldiers, regularly reported weapons and several mannequins of the belligerent armies involved in the conflict.

The museum is spread over 150 square meters and is open to the public with advance bookings for cultural groups, schools and individuals.
