To commemorate all the hard work, sacrifices, hopes, and often despair of the people of Valbrenta in cultivating this plant, almost the only source of sustenance and life in this area, the mountain community of Brenta has set up the "Museum of tobacco". The museum hosts various tools used for cultivation and there is also a reconstruction of a typical environment for the "cure" and processing of tobacco.
Driven by a great passion, prospector Serafino Gobbo travelled for many years through the lands which became the battlefields of the battle of Grappa and the Plateau of Sette Comuni during the First World War, in search of the remnants of war. But, unlike other prospectors of that time, who sold the recovered material, he was one of the first prospectors-collectors, who carried out a meticulous classification of the found pieces, then stored them in a small personal museum. After his death the collection was discovered by the mountain community and set up as a museum exhibition, which is continuously supplemented by further findings of other enthusiasts.
