One of the first paths has been traced by going to rediscover the old paths which reach the famous church of S. Anna di Salcedo in the village of Valle di Sopra di Lusiana. The route is a loop, enabling the possibility to choose the starting point and to return to it by a different route. On the way you can admire a bit of everything: mills and ancient districts, exuberant chestnut trees and ferns, sun-drenched cliffs and hidden gorges, old fountains and ingenious paths.
The route uses old paths and mule tracks, which once served to connect various districts. To ensure an easy passing, and several sections have been specially restored. The direction to follow is indicated by tables and/or black and white markings on the ground
Journey time
Around 2,5 hours of walking to complete the entire loop.
Difference in level
About 400 metres, including the up and down stages.
