The Festival of Sopressa

The “sopressa” sausages used for tasting during the festival are provided by local manufacturers, who continue to produce and mature them according to the ancient recipe, using pig's meat from farms around Vicenza.
Numerous initiatives take place during the festival, such as: walks to discover the most beautiful corners of the area, together with the guides from Pro Loco, exhibitions, an organ concert, visits to the Museum of Ancient Crafts and to a Venetian sawmill, as well as family shows. The Festival lasts for at least eight days in early August and ends usually on the day of Ferragosto.
