The Oratory of San Matio is one of the most beautiful examples of local popular art. It is a district oratory decorated with mysterious sculptures of almost barbaric expressiveness. The present appearance of the building was delivered by a local sculptor of the same name as the saint, to whom the oratory is dedicated, Matio Pelizaro. The sculptor worked in the years of the mid 18th Century, but the chapel is older, as the altarpiece is dated to 1749.
